
THE VILLAGE - first mentioned in documents by King Carl in 1322. The fortified church is situated on the west hill of the village. Two of its five towers remain. In 1810 the old church was taken down and a new spacious one built. It contains a classic style wooden altar with a crucifix and figures of the apostles Peter and Paul. The organ of 1822 was made by Johann Thois from Râsnov. There is a rough bar in the village and the Swein family will welcome you and provide wonderful food is required
THE HOUSE sleeps 4. It was once the ancient site of the first village church and is set in a courtyard with plum orchard and barn. Indoor kitchen and outside summer kitchen. Internal bath and WC.
THE JOURNEY: Drive from Bucharest through Brasov towards Sighisoara. 14 km after Rupea turn left to Crit .
